Irish Spelunking was a quick platformer made over the course of 3 Days, our theme was given to us randomly through a random game name generator (Irish Spelunking Gaiden). The premise of the game is that you play as a Leprechaun whose pot of gold has been stolen and must journey into a cave to retrieve it.
The game plays on cultural stereotypes of being an Irishman means that you keep drinking as if you will die, and if you get sober you lose. In True Irishman mode (basically hard mode) your drunkenness is reflected in gameplay.
My role in the project was designing and building the level, as well as gameplay balancing through tweaking the player traits as variables. I also did a bit of basic code to create the menus.
